Poet Walt Whitman said, “Whatever satisfies the soul is truth.”
What satisfies one may not satisfy another. But each person must seek their own truth.
What makes your heart sing? What makes you jump out of bed and race into your day? What makes you laugh? What makes you curious and energized and excited?
That is your truth.
Walt Whitman also said, “Let your soul stand cool and composed before a million universes.” Before a million opinions and options and others who see things differently. Stay composed in your truth. Forge on towards your dream.
Once you have locked on to your gift, your truth, don’t ever let it go.
As speaker and behavioural scientist Steve Maraboli once said, “Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.”
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
